Tshepo Mosidi, professionally known as Junior Taurus, is a South African DJ, music producer, songwriter, and sound engineer known for his work in house music, electronic music, and amapiano.
Raised in Pretoria, South Africa, Junior Taurus developed a passion for music at an early age. After initially studying computer science, he pursued his true interest in sound engineering and earned a diploma from Damelin College in Centurion.
He gained recognition through his partnership with Lady Zamar, with whom he released the album “Cotton Candy” in 2015. Songs such as “Mamelodi,” “Run Away,” and “Pitori” helped establish the duo in South Africa’s dance music scene.
Over the years, Junior Taurus has collaborated with artists including Focalistic, Cassper Nyovest, Lamiez Holworthy, and Major League DJz. His projects “Back To Love” and “Until September” further showcased his versatility. Today, he remains an influential producer committed to creating timeless music.
