In July 2008, the bodies of Johnny and Rickie Lotter were found by their daughter, Nicolette. Her brother, Hardus, barely survived having been tied up and badly beaten. Within hours the two of them were arrested alongside Nicolette’s boyfriend. Confessions of their crimes would lead police down a rabbit hole of; dark magic, exorcisms, evil and the ‘Third Son of God’.
