The FIFA World Cup 2026™ final ends with Spain as champions, after defeating Argentina 1-nil. A battle between Spain's 19-year-old Lamine Yamal, and Argentina's 39-year-old Lionel Messi. Spain's new generation, against Argentina's golden generation. Ferran Torres seals the winning goal in extra time at the 106th minute against Argentina in New Jersey. Nico Williams headed a Pedro Porro cross at the far post, and then Torres struck a goal in the net - past Argentina's goalkeeper, Emiliano Martinez.
