This is the fourth episode of I Am Black History brought to you by InTheBlack:Canada (ITBC), DeeP Visions Media, and a grant from the Canada Council for the Arts. In this episode meet a Canadian treasure - Elise Harding-Davis. Elise was born in Windsor Ontario and can trace both sides of her family back many generations. Elise says she was raised to be the griot for her people and can't imagine doing anything else. She was the first Black female curator of the Amherstburg Freedom Museum and for 32 years used that platform to tell the untold often hidden stories of Black Canadians. Elise says that without Black history, Canadian history is incomplete. Elise had so much to share that she will also be featured on episode 5 scheduled for publication on April 12th.
