In this episode meet Chad Lucas who was born in Lucasville Nova Scotia and who can trace both sides of his mixed race family back many generations. Chad shares his thoughts about racism in Canada, the continued struggles of Black and Indigenous people in this country, and the importance of telling the whole story. Chad's novel for 10-14 year olds - Thanks A Lot Universe - is due to be published in May 2021.
