Meet a Palestinian woman who believed in her dreams and worked tirelessly to achieve them, eventually becoming one of the most prominent figures in her field. Her goal was to create a special project in memory of her mother, and this project has since become one of the most significant ventures in the Arab world. Chef Salam Daqaq shares her journey in the world of cooking. She discusses how she managed to introduce the world to the traditions and cuisine of the Palestinian people and their heritage. Salam attributes her success to her mother, a highly skilled cook whose homemade meals were adored by everyone who tasted them. She wanted to create something enduring in memory of her late mother, which she did through the restaurant "Bait Maryam," named after her mother.
