This week, we look at the research and the insights of Jonathan Haidt into childhood social media and tech use. Why are teen girls so depressed? Why have rates of adolescent anxiety skyrocketed since the 2010s? It's a hard conversation to have as so many new studies come in, parents want to be connected to their kids, and phone use seems less harmless than other risks. Haidt proposes four new norms that society could choose to follow to combat all of these problems. What do you think?
